The engraving will be done exactly how you enter in the text box. If you put dashes (-) or slashes (/) between the month, day, and year it will be engraved that way. If you'd like a dot (·) centered from top to bottom between the month, day, and year type the dot in the places you'd like in the text box. (Copy and paste the dot above if you don't know how to type a dot.) This tag is made of copper metal and will age naturally over time to an antique color.
